Rise of the Allies

The very next day, Icifica ambassadors came to the main capital city of Egartha and Jolantis. The opposition force wanted to merge armies to form one major Morgana Prime opposition. The plan was approved, and the armies merged, forming as one group of men under one banner.

Soon after they led 200 soldiers via the Condor dropships to the pit. The soldiers went down to the eerie underground caverns. The soldiers jumped in fright at every drip of water. There was a blowing of horns, then all of a sudden forty Wraiths stepped out in an orderly row and opened fire. The soldiers ducked behind the boulders, loaded fresh clips of ammunition in their cannons and simultaneously fired. The impact killed 19 wraiths and injured 12. Then menacingly 3 Force Guardians appeared and showered fuel rod cannons straight into the area. Many men screamed in agony as the fuel rod burned their flesh.

One Force Guardian lowered its gigantic force shield and charged, ramming into a large Leviathan brought in by dropships. The single blow crushed the shields and flattened the front of the Leviathan. The Guardian swung its large blade, smashing many soldiers around the ballistic tank. Armor-piercing pinged off the Guardian's titanium steel armor and they seemed to have no effect on him as he kept on coming. It made shortwork of a fire team dedicated to sniping down infantry then sliced across a group of tank-hunters. Many collapsed to the ground dead, their helmets totally crushed by the impact. One of them survived, stood up and opened fire on the massive apparition and it swung its shield into the soldier. The soldier slammed to the ground, his neck disgustingly tilted to one side.

Ewan from 30 yards fired a rocket into the massive giant's helmet. The helmet flew off and took along it's head. The large soldier swung to the ground and shook up the dust. Joel opened fire with a rifle, taking along the lives of 2 wraiths unlucky enough to stumble into his line of fire. The armor-piercing bullets pierced through their plasma armor and stopped them in their tracks, fresh blood flowing freely. Ismail threw a plasma grenade he obtained from a dead Wraith scout. It exploded with a loud BANG, crushing 4 Wraiths and wounding 10 others. The ground was stained by the splash of plasma.

The Plasma Warriors

Ewan and Joel listened again and again to the feed they had from the captain before he was killed. Many soldiers stood around in discomfort. Finally, the two decided that it was wise to destroy the threat. Soon, 4 Pelicans landed beside the camp, and carried Joel, Ewan and 100 soldiers to the estimated location of the pit.

The 4 Pelicans slowed down. There was broken stones and plasma burns on the ground. Carefully the soldiers got off the airplanes, and took a look around the environment. Certainly, there was a huge hole in the middle of the barren land, and dead soldiers lay everywhere. Joel found the Captain, whose helmet was gone. He lay dead near some large boulders, crushed by a large stone slab.

Suddenly, Ewan heard something open fire on them. Before they knew what had happened, 200 Wraiths and the Soldier had gathered and started to spray plasma fire. Joel took out his rifle, activated his shields and joined in the firefight. The 100 Allied soldiers fought hard, but they could not hold back the enemy, as more and more forces joined the fight. 50 more wraiths appeared out of the hole and threw many plasma grenades. Shrapnel pierced through the soldier's armors and many of them were wounded.

One grenade blew up near Joel, setting off his shield alarms. He waited for the shield level to go back up, then threw a fragmentation grenade across the rocks. He heard a loud explosion, and smelt burning meat. However, now many soldiers were killed by the large Soldier. He used his fuel rod cannon to launch plasma, heat-seeking missiles. They exploded on impact, causing much chaos and injury. Then the large being drew its energy force blade, held onto its force shield and charged. The Wraiths behind him followed suit.

Ewan saw the huge Soldier coming, and took out his rocket launcher. He launched a single rocket and was startled when the Soldier didn't even flinch once. He could not disengage, and was slammed by the large shield. Ewan's strong special armor saved him, but its shield level went extremely low. Joel drew his laser blade and sliced across the Soldier, cutting through a portion of heavy armor like paper. Joel saw his chance, unslung his rocket launcher, and launched a sure and accurate shot straight into the unprotected flesh. There was a shriek, then chaos reigned as the Soldier collapsed onto the ground dead, stirring up a great amount of dust particles.

The Wraiths looked distraught and could not fight on. The allies overpowered them and destroyed the wave of soldiers. The last Wraith shot a sure bullet into a soldier's head and blew off the soldier's helmet. Blood sprayed out disgustingly from his head. Then Ewan charged forward and sliced off the Wraith's head with his energy blade.

They stared around the ruins and waited for pick-up. When they were back at the base, they found out something. "These warriors are known as the Plasma Warriors, who delve deep inside the mines where uranium is found. They have superb technology and very thick armor. The Soldier which Joel killed is a type of warrior they have, an oversized Mephit. They call themselves Force Guardians and are supremely strong and durable." the officer said.

"Plasma Warriors. Force guardians... interesting." Joel muttered to noone in particular.

End of the Alien War, but Another Erupts..

Now as the remaining soldiers looked out upon what had once been their homes, they sighed and began clearing the piles of debris of airplanes , rubble, pieces of molten rock, leftovers of the disgusting aliens, broken towers and corpses. There was also loads of slime and blood around, making progress difficult. Worst still, many soldiers were wounded and infected by an alien disease and there were scarcely any medics left in the small army.

Gathering up piles of uranium from the subterrean caves with crushed entrances, they moved the radioactive material into barrels and closed it. Gathering up what materials they had, they began building a camp for the soldiers to have refuge. Meanwhile, dropships from Relic had arrived, and parachuted many soldiers onto the ground to speed up the progress. More dropships came, dropping piles of hardwood for building purposes, as well as dropping some more Hydras onto the landing pads which were not damaged by the alien war.

As there were still aliens hiding inside the caves waiting for a chance to sprout out again to ravage the land, Joel took along 5 of his veteran soldiers, Mephits, to destroy the alien threat once and for all. Gathered at the entrance of the caves, the 6 of them lobbed plasma grenades into the hole. They listened to the explosion of the grenades, heard alien shrieks, and were convinced that the alien threat was destroyed totally. But one thing they didn't know, the aliens could reproduce quickly, so they had to destroy EVERY single one of them...

Meanwhile, a small camp had been set-up, with watchtowers and bunkers for soldiers to rest in. A factory had also been set-up to build war units like the Hydra and the Behemoth to defend the camp against further threats. Ewan was busy commanding the repair of the base, but the soldiers under his command were out in the open, searching for survivors. Looking into a hole in the ground, a sergeant pointed and said, "What's in that hole?"

The soldiers looked but could not find any explanation, when suddenly, plasma bombs started flying out and detonating, and the area was splashed with plasma. The soldiers stared around shocked as more plasma sprayed out and killed many of them. At least 10 soldiers out of the group of 50 had been obliterated by the impact of the blast and they were starting to back away when a hook hit the top of the hole, and loads of Wraiths equipped with plasma weapons leaped out of the hole and opened fire.

Ewan's soldiers hid behind a pile of boulders and returned fire. The ballistic weapons hit the Wraiths and many of them fell, never to awake again. However there were still fully 200 of them at least and the Egarthan soldiers had limited ammunition and supplies to continue the frantic firefight. A captain gave them orders. "Fire Team A! Defend the left flank!"

"Team B, defend the centre area where our supplies are kept!" "Rest of you defend the right flank!" as more Wraith soldiers appeared and bombarded the area with plasma fire. The Egartha soldiers were hard put to it. They fired rounds after rounds of ammo but still more Wraiths appeared and appeared. Then a large Mephit-like soldier appeared, jumped down from a short cliff, absorbed the shock with its massive knees and moved towards the centre flank.

"Come on guys, lets take this bastard out!" a corporal ordered.
"No! Fall back!" The captain shouted as he bent over to retrieve a rocket launcher. But he knew it was too late. The soldiers didnt have a prayer as they had come too close and could not disengage from the firefight. The massive soldier used a stone slab to smash many soldiers who crumbled to the ground in pain. The rest stood and opened fire on the giant. The corporal threw a fragmentation grenade, watched it detonate, and stared in disbelief as the soldier kept on coming towards him. Its massive arms slammed into him, and his armor's warning siren started screeching as shield levels went low. He grunted in pain, unable to hold his weapon. He fell to the ground, but he remained conscious, which meant that he was able to see the massive soldier crush him with its energy force shield. There was a howl of pain as the corporal died and his armor blew up, unable to withstand the force shield.

Meanwhile, the frantic Captain fired rockets into the large unearthly being, but it seemed to have little effect on him. Few soldiers were left to continue the firefight. Then he remembered the radio on his helmet. He contacted the main base and told them of the events. Then a plasma grenade hit him and blew his helmet off. He stumbled to the ground, clutching his wound and stared up as the feared soldier appeared, held onto its energy shield, and smashed it into the captain. He tried to withstand the pain but to no avail, and he waited for the first glimpse of paradise. Seeing their captain go down, the rest of the soldiers had no more heart to fight further. The Soldier used its fuel rod cannon and blasted the remaining small group into a pile of rocks nearby.

The last soldiers alive shot a few bullets at the soldiers, attempted to flee, and felt plasma hitting them. They closed their eyes and slumped to the ravaged ground. The squad of elite soldiers was obliterated by this new force which had superb technology.. Fuel rod cannons, plasma weapons, force shields and hardened armor..

Uranium Rush:Aftermath

The soldiers stared at the wreckage around the area. Broken towers, torn camps, crushed lumber mills. They sighed and gathered up the survivors. Setting up camp, they decided what to do when Icifica without warning rushed up and charged.

Before they knew what was happening, another fight had begun. They hurried and picked up their plasma guns and opened fire. A few Icifica soldiers were weakened by the shots and slumped to the muddy ground. While the other Icifica soldiers were distracting the Relic men, their captain stepped out... none other than Ismail of course. Laughing evilly, he pushed a button on his airship.. explosions rocked the base. People started running around, scurrying for shelter. Antimatter guns fired a continous stream of antiprotons at the capital, breaking the structures of solid rock.

He laughed. The day had come, when Icifica would take over the world. The antimatter guns worked perfectly. But, the soldiers were not so easily beaten. They grabbed their weapons and shot the airship, making it malfunction. Ismail started to panick and retreated. His soldiers covered him by spraying tear gas. Everyone's eyes started to water and they couldn't do anything. When they could see again, Ismail and his Icifica army were gone..

Morgana Prime Is Threathened:Uranium Rush Final

Drums were beating. Upon the war-ravaged land and the destroyed capitals of the 3 factions and the caverns of aliens were sprouting out troops to reinforce the war. The soldiers from Relic, Morgana Prime's neighbouring planet, had joined in the fight. Having joined with the armies of Jolantis and Egartha, they fought for days and days upon the plains. Fires sprouted and acid flowed freely in contaminated rivers upon the land of Morgana.

The aliens were charging again. The soldiers of Helike, only about 2500 strong now, with around 400 soldiers from Ewan-Joel's alliance, gathered for a last stand. The aliens gathered their Crudgins and Podas and started ripping the frontlines of the soldiers. Across the wide plain, the Icifica army could be seen fighting against alien air raids.

Suddenly, great air supplyships appeared out of the horizon of the land of Morgana Prime. Moving slowly, like majestic airships armed with great cannons, they were Condors of Relic, great siege ships built to stand siege against enemies, transport supplies and launch powerful laser blasts at the land beneath them. The flag of Helike flew behind it, and the 5 Condors moved forward, Afterburners flicked on. Large and gigantic, they reached the now-ravaged capital of the Alliance and slowed down. Glowing white, they gathered energy and launched a white laser beam straight at the aliens. A Fusion Storm it was, where enough flak energy was gathered to launch destructive blasts of flak and laser at enemy airships. The group of alien air-strike monsters were all blown up, green blood and disgusting slime splatted across the floor.

The Helike army raised their flags, and charged out. Shouting for liberation and the death of their enemies, the aliens, they moved their war-machines forward, with a new unit:a hydra. Fast moving and launching volleys of cannons into the air, it could turn airships into debris in seconds straight. War cries arose and great shouts as the 2 armies met and fought. Great sluaghter, long hours of bloodshed, but at last a big portion of the aliens had been killed, and the rest were driven back into their underground caves.

Meanwhile, Icifica's commander Ismail ordered 5 Shade units to self-destruct at the great Miasmal. They started blinking red, hot with explosive energy. It exploded into smithereens, dealing a big punch to the Miasmal. The Miasmal seemed to move around dizzily, then crashed onto the ground. 250 invisible Jorias guardians stepped out and attacked. Ismail sent the Leviathan against them, which had ballistic shielding and prevented close combat and ballistic weapons from damaging the great twin-cannon tank. They charged the grounds, overcoming the weak remaining aliens, killing nearly all of them. The rest retreated, leaving few injured or dead.

The dark clouds cleared out from the sky. Sunlight shone onto the land beneath. All the soldiers of Icifica, Jolantis and Egartha looked out upon the pale blue sky with great wonder.

Alien's Siege

Morgana Prime was overwhelmed with thousands of aliens. No army could stand up against them. The war of the 3 factions were forgotten. All only cared to drive the aliens back to their subterrean caves, their breeding grounds.

Spectres from Ewan's small leftover force started launching nukes, IRBMs at their enemies. After a 10 second siren planetwide, the large missile came zooming down at terrific speeds into the aliens. But nobody could tell what happened to them, whether dead or alive. But all knew that the Inter-Regional Ballistic Missile worked against the aliens. They hated it, the flames and wreckage.

Not too far away, Ismail's force, the Icifica army was retreating from their capital, right into the direction of the ally's force. Already, Super-organics had overrun the planet. Just then, many starships were spotted zooming across the horizon. Many parachutes opened up. Men could plainly be seen parachuting from the space shuttles. Soon, a small troop of soldiers never seen were talking to Joel and Ewan. "We come from Relic after the summons, sirs." they said.

"From Helike," they whispered. Joel stared at the ships above. The summons were really answered. After some time, the entire Helike army touched down on Morgana Prime, now a debatable and desert land. The aliens were holding a siege against the inhabitants of Relic and Morgana Prime. The Helike army consisted of around 4000 sturdy troops of Spirits, Mephits, Daevas, Ghasts and Revenants. Soon, they stormed the front, along with about 300 of Ewan's troops and 170 of Joel's troops. This was all the strength left.

Who would win this war? Everyone knew the answer and could wager their bets. However, the men were not going to give up. They were going to fight for the freedom of Morgana Prime, a world of wonders, full of exploration, a destination for future heroes..

Battle for the Underground III Alien Uprising

Swarms of aliens poured out from the caves as armies surfaced and retreated. Gasping for fresh air, everyone ran around. Morgana Prime was in an indescribable chaos as fires rose and poisonous fumes rose around the air.

And more and more aliens were coming out. Many species were they, Podas, Kritsks, Mlorthas. Then, more and more air flew out, Oizys, Boreas, Erises, Lyssas, not to mention the Manta and Onnir, feared for its ability to exert a tachyon sweep, which could detect camouflage, cloak and infiltrate. Men ran out of their capitals to fight the aliens, but to no avail. They were far too strong. Morgana Prime was ruined. Towers and buildings crashed down in the Joel-Ewan capital. The flag of eternal alliance was torn by the acid attacks from Crudgins, a hideous looking monster which had small legs to move around.

Behemoths were sent by Joel to hold the Capital gates. They had no choice but to hold a siege against the aliens. Everyone was utterly exhausted and famished. No food could be found, as acid had ruined every single food found in the capital farms. Boldly, Joel let out a sortie of 250 troops, made up of Mephits and Imps. They rushed out in a darehardy formation, firing laser and flames at their alien enemies. But the aliens had the upperhand, and soon the troops were down.

At that moment, many explosions almost simultaenously occured in the capital of the allies. "Ugh!" Ewan shouted. Charises had dropped many acid missiles onto the capital. The great storage of uranium was destroyed, and the radioactive metal came flowing out, to everyone's horror. "Fall back, fall back!" Joel summoned the remaining troops, fleeing away from the destroyed, ravaged land of aliens.

More than five thousand valiant troops had been killed since the aliens came. How long could the army hold? Joel doubted that they could last much longer. They were short of food, no materials for new mobiles to be constructed, and no weapons to equip their remaining force. Furthermore, the aliens were hotly on their heels.

Joel had just enough titanium metal to forge 4 Arbalests. He equiped them with a very strong mortar fire bombardment and launched it. Showers of dust sprayed over the planet like a large cloudy mushroom as the mortar fire struck the aliens. For the first time in the siege, never was there bloodshed among the aliens. Now, that was going to change! The mortar badly hurt the aliens, killing many also.

Meanwhile, leagues away, Ismail's sundered force returned to their capital, not yet revaged. They could clearly see many explosions and flames rising in the ravaged land, no longer a magical garden of greenery it was before.

And now, Joel had sent summons for help to the space portal in the planet Relic. Will help ever come?
